Reynolds Plantation took its tennis program to a new level of achievement with the addition of The Lake Club Tennis Center. Under the direction of Dave Neuhart, 2000 Peter Burwash International Tennis Professional of the Year, The Lake Club Tennis Center boasts two stadium-sized and 6 championship-sized, lighted, and tournament-ready courts. Four Har-Tru Hydro Courts and four traditional hard courts complement a range of amenities like tennis packages, clinics, private lessons, player match-up service and the Dartfish system, a computer-aided, video analysis software that helps assess and improve a player's tennis stroke right on the court. A full service pro shop, computerized ball machine and world-class service round out the amenities that helped Reynolds Plantation garner 2006 PBI "Tennis Site of the Year" and the 2007 "Top 50 Tennis Welcome Centers" recognition by the Tennis Industry Association.

An increasing number of tennis events, including the 2006 ALTA Sportsmanship Reward Retreat and the 2007 PBI Tennis Show, are helping boost visibility of the Reynolds Plantation tennis program.
