The list of members of the Reynolds Plantation Builders Association is provided as a convenience only. It is an attempt to acquaint the prospective homeowner with the builders in the area, which subscribe to a certain criteria. Reynolds Plantation specifically excludes all warranties, expressed or implied, as to the financial stability, net worth, credit worthiness, or competence of the members of the Reynolds Plantation Builders Association.

Reynolds Plantation compiles certain information from applicants and makes a subjective judgment based on certain criteria as to whether membership shall be granted and maintained. In the residential construction business conditions can change rapidly and the Reynolds Plantation urges its customers and homeowners in dealing with a builder to be vigilant over the building process.

ABOUT ED BLUME
Ed Blume, a native Atlantan, is a Lovett School and University of Georgia graduate. Throughout his high school and college careers, Ed worked part-time for various commercial and residential contractors, gaining the experience needed to make his career decision to enter general contracting. In 1998, he founded E.G. Blume and Co., building homes in the fast-paced market of Forsyth County, north of Atlanta. In 2000, Ed moved his business to Lake Oconee, finding success building homes with superior craftsmanship at a fair price. He currently holds an unrestricted general contracting license for the state of Georgia, and has been a member of both local and national builder associations.

Ed was fortunate to have the opportunity to meet the needs of our growing community by directing the company to the forefront of commercial development for the lake area. Ed has successfully completed projects totaling over 360,000 square feet of space. Some of his contributions to the ever-changing landscape of Lake Oconee have been the construction of the Reynolds Administration Building, Spotlight Theatres, Parkside Commons (behind Publix), Village Commerce (Weinberger’s Furniture area), and The Vintage Club Condominiums. His ability to manage multiple projects and complete them in a timely manner is a testament to his work ethic and dedication to his clients. In his nine years of service in the Lake Oconee area, Ed has consistently completed four to six residences per year.

ABOUT JONATHAN HILL
Jonathan is originally from Conyers Georgia and possesses a bachelor of science in building construction from the Georgia Institute of Technology.  Jonathan has experience in both commercial and residential construction and has worked in multiple markets on a wide variety of projects.  From a beginning sweeping out houses for a residential homebuilder to working for one of the largest general contractors in the southeast, Jonathan moved to Georgia’s Lake Country to pursue his lifelong dream of living at the lake and someday owning his own business.

In February of 2006 Jonathan partnered with Ed Blume to found Stonehill Development, LLC. Jonathan is an active member of the Lake Oconee Area Home Builders Association and has served on the board as a Builder Director and function chairman.

The crown molding throughout the house, the quality of the cabinetry and construction, the detailed woodwork, and the masonry stonework are details rarely seen today.
