The Tennis Member Appreciation banquet welcomed sixty-three Members of the Club at Reynolds Plantation on Saturday, January 24th at The Lake Club. This annual event gives the Reynolds Plantation Tennis program a chance to show appreciation to the many tennis enthusiasts that take part in the programming and tournaments held throughout the year for club members.
The Signature Home Program at Reynolds Plantation began with a simple vision to provide a low-cost, high-value service to the community’s owners and buyers that would help facilitate and streamline the process of building a new home.
“Golf is in the DNA of Reynolds Plantation,” says Rob Bowser, lead instructor at the Reynolds Golf Academy. “We have a culture where people love to play golf, and helping people play is why we come to work.” It’s also why Bowser and two other staff teachers are now students of the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), the world leader in studying how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing.
At the inaugural Linger Longer Invitational in 2006, Florida State University sophomore Jonas Blixt struggled to finish tied for 19th, with a pair of 75s on his scorecard. By 2013, the young Swedish golfer was one of the rising stars on the PGA Tour, picking up his second victory, and by 2014 had won more than $5 million on tour.
